Ramona Matei
Ramona Oprea Matei is a Senior Associate with the law firm and a member of the Real Estate, M&A, Corporate and Commercial Law practices, having over 13 years of experience as a business lawyer.
Her area of expertise covers mainly the fields of real estate, corporate and M&A practices, as well as issues related to the law of constructions and public procurement.
Ramona has been involved in various projects that include due diligence procedures for the purchase of real estate and companies. Her experience includes, among other things, assisting clients during the negotiation and execution of the contractual documentation for sale and purchase of real estate, rental of commercial spaces and transfer of business. She has been involved in numerous investment projects, offering legal assistance, among others, in issues related to taking over companies from various sectors, restructuring companies, setting up joint ventures, in various fields of activity. Ramona also offers consultancy in aspects related to day-by-day activities of comercial companies.
Ramona has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2006. She also holds a master's degree in Business Law from Nicolae Titulescu University in Bucharest and speaks fluent Romanian, English and Spanish at the conversational level.
